Sensitive Environmental Monitoring for Viral Contamination

We have extensive experience in the application of qualitative and quantitative (Real time PCR) molecular detection assays of virus contamination (viral nucleic acids) on environmental surfaces e.g. human noroviruses. We can adapt techniques for sensitive and specific detection of viruses or groups of viruses. These techniques can be used to verify the presence or absence of contaminating virus, and in some cases, in conjunction with other assays, be used to determine the residual viability of contaminants. We use standard SOPs, dedicated equipment, extensive controls and a PCR clean laboratory to protect the integrity of samples.
